Founder Sherry Mora, a true California girl, was born in Fairfield, California. She became involved with serving others as a child, growing up in the Church, where her father was a minister. Seeing her father over the years, praying for the sick to shut in, and visiting those in prison, she learned early on how important it was to give back and to care for those less fortunate. She carried this caring spirit throughout her life by continuing to serve and volunteer in the community.
Sherry has always been very driven; however, when her own life circumstances caused her to be down on her luck, she lost everything. Not being able to provide for her family, she realized that being homeless or without could happen to anyone. She actually felt the hard hit of life that many of the individuals she would help were going through.
This turn of events was the inspiration that sparked '"The Butterfly Effect."
With a strong background in Training and Professional Development, Sherry believes strongly anyone's life can be revitalized with the proper assistance and resources.
Sherry's love for cooking keeps her in the midst of all the action when feeding the community. She often prepares many of the meals from scratch to feed those in need.
Her love for travel and writing helps keep her abreast of the social climate in different parts of the world and an understanding of what is possible when we collectively work together to initiate change.
